Friends of mine just got back from the Wisconsin Dells with her family. Her children range in age from 4 to 16, so it’s a difficult group to please when it comes to family vacations. But the Dells were the perfect place for this crew, who was looking for a long weekend getaway.

Because so many of the hotels have their own built-in waterparks, the family could take the four-year old and six year old back to the room when they got tired but the 13 and the 16 year olds could stay in the water park until they were ready to quit. It proved to be an affordable holiday, too, since the admission to the waterpark was included in the room rate.
