If you’re planning to stay closer to home this summer for your family vacations, look into state park cabins for a great value. You get the benefit of hundreds or thousands of acres of open space and hiking trails and other recreational activities that US state parks have to offer. The accommodations can vary considerably and the best ones tend to get booked early, so now is the time to start thinking about where you might want to go.

Some states, like Illinois and Oklahoma, have state park resorts with full-service hotels and loads of activities. Others have huge family reunion cabins, cabins on lakes or tucked away in the wilderness. They’re more comfortable than camping and vary in terms of their degree of simplicity or luxury. Some have tent cabins, which can give you the sense of camping without having to pitch a tent. A tent cabin usually has the same type of open campfire cooking.

Check out Nebraska’s state parks - several are western themed. Louisiana has state park cabins on the bayous, South Carolina has state park cabins on the beach, Kentucky’ state parks have lodges, and even Hawaii has state park cabins, which book very early.

From what I’ve heard and what I’ve seen on their website, HanseDom - Freizeitpark Stralsund seems to be the perfect way of having a family fun trip. What caught my eyes was the diversity of swimming pools and thermal baths, as well as their health center.

I’m planning a vacation there so if any of you could give me some details it would me greatly appreciated.

Have you ever heard of shops that sell recycled products? They use old material to produce new products. It’s actually quite funny how everything looks like! I never heard of the whole idea, till I went to one of thoseteen summer camps china. A girl that I met had a really great bag and I made a comment about it. She told me about the shop that sells those products and they really have a wide range of handy products! I thought that you actually had to go there, but I went to the website and you can order everything just on the internet!

I need to know what I need to do to make sure they don’t have any trouble getting her into or out of the country. Do they need to have temporary guardianship? Or something else? What kind of paperwork do they need? Is there anything else about Aruba that I’d need to know that they would need to have?

Friends of mine just got back from the Wisconsin Dells with her family. Her children range in age from 4 to 16, so it’s a difficult group to please when it comes to family vacations. But the Dells were the perfect place for this crew, who was looking for a long weekend getaway.

Because so many of the hotels have their own built-in waterparks, the family could take the four-year old and six year old back to the room when they got tired but the 13 and the 16 year olds could stay in the water park until they were ready to quit. It proved to be an affordable holiday, too, since the admission to the waterpark was included in the room rate.

I’ll be going on my 2nd visit to Hong Kong. I’ll be staying for only two days and we’re planning on visiting Lantau Island since we weren’t able to go there the first time. I was just wondering what are the other attractions in Lantau Island aside from the giant Buddha and the cable car ride? Thanks.

I have just completed a 5 week trip around the highlands and the beach of Ecuador and I have to say that OLA Adventures took good care of me and my family throughout. In the summer it is so nicely warm in Spain! My friend went there in the summer to attend Spanish lessons Madrid for about a month. In the summer it has the warmest months, so sometimes it is too warm. But the good thing about those lessons was that she only had classes in the morning, so she could do whatever she wanted in the afternoon! Meet friends; drink something on a terrace while you’re enjoying the incredible sun!

She said that you could compare the weather there with the Tenerife weather and that is nice, I can tell! Who doesn’t want to spend his or her summer in a hot country?
